When I used to attend these meetings at Ardsley House I almost felt it to be my duty to tell my mates who were unable to go what had been said.I never told lies or spread rumours I just told people who were interested but couldn't attend what the guest speakers had said. After all we're all Barnsley fans and I don't get all this secrecy,

That goes out of the window with all the secrecy. By not telling all the fans what went off, there's a chance people will gossip and then false information gets believed.

I made this point before and was assured that they were going to make the minutes available online

    No need for secrecy

I didn't renew my trust membership because of this. I couldn't make meetings and was expecting to be kept informed but wasn't. Stronger on our own.

I am in the same position and experiencing the same thing. I logged into the members area and it just says Minutes available - No. Surely it has got to be available to all members? I hope I am getting a copy through the post, though won't hold my breath. Can't see me being more than a 1 season member. Waste of money.

Can I make one point here regarding the minutes for the last meeting (5th March).

How can the minutes be available until they have been issued and approved by the next meeting. Surely the basics of any club etc

The missing minutes from the previous meetings that are missing I will rectify as soon as possible. That is an error by myself and I am waiting for the secretary to send me new copies.

Has it always been the norm then?

For anyone who wasn't in the room doing the secret hand shake to have to wait a month to find anything out from a SUPPORTERS meeting? And only then if you pay for it of course.

BFC Supporters Trust does more harm than good

I apologise for jumping the gun then, I thought the "No" meant no, as has been implied on here. Will there be a more detailed copy of what was said or just the very basic minutes?

owen this is going to drag and drag

I don't think people are looking for what was said word for word, just give us the gist and get the monkeys off your back .

You are starting to sound like Frank the town clerk off Vicar of Dibley

And that Supertyke is why you are not a member.

If we do more harm than good I am sorry. Perhaps your constant sniping at the trust and Barnsley FC does more harm than good.

You have an habit of turning everything the club and trust say into a negative, you see no positives in the club or the trust. Well if you don't like it you could always try to do something about it.

I think i will get back to my life and forget about the crap that is drolled out on here by a small minority of individuals
