I am at a loss to understand why PC is reluctant to pass on the responsibility to a Chairman/Chief Executive and take a back seat.

I know he had a bad start with Spend, Spend Riddy. but GS steadied the ship and although PC had a hand in, turned the club around.

I would 'Delegate' providing I could get the right person and there must be plenty out there.

I know there is a large difference between a person wanting a fortune out of the job (P Riddy ???) but there has to be
a compromise out there with Sheps know how who should be paid appropriately for his services.

    Not me. </p>

Spoke to Peter Jones a bit at the time - he knew a lot more about it all than me.

    Correct me if I'm wrong...

... but I don't think JD and PC get along.

Didn't PC offer some money for a seat on the board, and JD turned him down. We went into Admin soon after I think.
