I'm only a relatively new Tyke, but I hope I will be forgiven for making a suggestion. Instead of moaning about Davey every moment, why don't all those on here get to the next match and cheer the team from start to finish. I've been to two games at Oakwell now and can't believe the atmosphere there - it's just so quiet. It was better at the Sheffield Wednesday game, but you would expect that. Please everyone get behind the team and support with your hearts - let's lift the Tykes to safety.

    Good post

Are you just very young or how come you're a "relatively new Tyke", if you don't mind me asking? :)

You're so positive that sometimes you celebrate goals that never happened. :D

I'm a massive Mifsud fan - think his pace is brilliant and makes football exciting. He's so desperate to score at the moment he's almost trying too hard to bang one in, but I'm never going to criticise anyone for effort and he runs about 20 miles every game. A pity the crowd have no song for him yet - that's the problem for me at Barnsley, the fans don't seem to really get behind the players. I know there are exceptions, but that what it seems to me.

    But for many!!

like myself who have seen the inconsistency at Oakwell and at away games this season that it is hard to get enthusiastic about Davey , not the team.
The team we have are a top 10 side easily but as the games go on we can see tacticts and players out of position and most of all the cluleless non motivation skills of the manger
I used to look forward to games and was one of many who rattled buckets ariound the country when we were in admin, but if you asked me now to do the same with Davey at the helm i would not and the fact is until Davey goes there will be many who will stay away next season. Its not fair to ask fans to "make do" with a relegation scrap every season, Mid table would do fine.

absolutely not a fan of the Sky Blues. To be honest I have a few players I follow rather than a team. That's the way it is. Not born in Barnsley so don't deserve to be a true Barnsley fan - but for now I'm a Tyke and cheering them on big time. Totally believe they wil not go down and also believe they are pretty good on a going day. Miffy will be deadly for Barnsley if he gets accurate passes to run on to rather than balls 50 feet in the air...
