Been to hospital today to discuss the possibilty of having surgery. I'm wondering in anyone might have had gastric surgery where they wrap the stomach around the gullet ??

I take 40mg of nexium every day and some days they don't seem to take effect,' my body is producing too much acid and I don't have a valve to stop the Acid refluxing, surgery is and option just a bit worried as they is some conditions attached like i might not be able to eat right for a couple of years after (or so they say) I will have to have baby like food 6 weeks after and things like I will struggle to burp and I won't be able to vomit again ( I know it sounds gross but imagine been I'll and not been able to vomit)
