Bless her. I've not followed the story and I try to avoid the show. But having inevitably seen some of it, and all the newspaper coverage, I have been endeared to her. She seems to be the most genuine person to have found fame from such shows. I really feel for her, the press seem to have hounded and bullied her. I hope she comes back fighting. Shame on the British press, it seems they love to build people up and then smash them.
Paul Potts was just like Escala, a con They were already a successful band who were regularly on the 'classical' music channels and he was a professional opera singer trained by pavarotti himself yet both were made out by simon cowells lot to be total novices
Shame on the British press? Shame on the world's press more like. I can't believe that Australian news bulletins over the past few days have been dominated (well maybe not quite dominated) by news that some woman from the other side of the world is tired. Then again, I suppose ITN will be running an article on my itchy arsch tonight.

RE: Paul Potts was just like Escala, a con I never knew that, interesting. I kind of expected there would be some 'professionals' amongst them but didn't have Potts down as one of them. He has a cracking voice still.
