Why so shocked? Surely Sven is motivated by money- but how many people act for alturistic reasons. In football especially there is no loyalty so why do we expect it. It's the so called News of the World which should be reported to the press commission for setting up this disgraceful sting. It's a scum paper for the illeducated proles to pass there Sundays being influenced by the gutter politics of Rupert Murdock. To do this so close to the World Cup shows they are only interested in selling papers. Not defending Sven, but my question would be... Why would the News of the World want to stage this whole episode to start with? Are there underlying factors, tocause a rumpus in the England camp to disrupt our preperation. Didn't something else happen just before last world cup.

to be honest its a load of cack man says "if the circumstances were right, youd won the world cup and we met your demands, would you consider coming to be our manager?" its not like he said i would definately come is it and thats the context in which it was asked only you dont seem to read into that bit. its like saying "if you won the lottery would you resign from your job" you saying yes and your company sacking you. News of the world is about as reliable as Mike Sheron infront of goal.

My feelings on Sven what sven did doesnt bother me really. The fact he is over piad under achiever does. Many a manager could have done what he has. With a talented bunch of players he has plus crouch and hargreaves. I could manage england to defeat in nothern Ireland!! He tactics are obvious and show know tactical know how. His substitions are baffeling and his determined to Pick certain players no matter what they from e.g playing Beckham injured in a world cup. Playing owen in euro's when he was totaly out of form. Sticking with Seamen then James! OWEN HARGREAVES!!! He had no idea how to change a game. If England win the world cup it will be Because of the Talented players on the pith doing what they are trained to do by there clubs and in my opnion have very little to do with Sven. Extending his contract before euro 2004 was totaly stupid, and aside from a couple of games here and there cant remember us playing all so well. Just how i feel about it anyway.
