good manager is sven. dont care what he does in personal life as long as he wins the world cup next year for us, which i think he may well do.
not at all. track record. also, he's hardly lost any competitive matches since he's been in charge and I think we have one of the best chances of winning the world cup next year as we have had in recent years. he's got a good bunch of players to work with but still has to make them work as a team and he does this well. i think the players respond to him well. its the english press that need to hang their heads in shame, the way they criticise the teams every move can only harm our chances of winning the world cup yet you can bet your bottom dollar the sun will be claiming all the credit next summer when we do well in germany.
I think he's a bloody good manager at club level. Not sure he has what it takes for england though. For me he should never have been appointed. If no top english manager wanted the job, a foreign manager who has actually managed in english football would have been a better choice - ie Ranieri.
His inability to adapt is scary, his insistence on picking his favourites no matter their form is foolhardy, and his lack of success at the truly crucial stages demonstrates both.
