But we didn't half make it easy for them at times. They pressed high up the field from the start, yet we continued to prat about with it at the back and invariably gave it away. Our defence isn't good enough to play football when they're under pressure and we proved it time and again. First half was like a practice match. They played keep ball and we failed to get it off them, with neither side looking bothered about scoring a goal. Then out of the blue Vaz Te scored a beauty, only for us to gift them the equaliser. Two quick goals after half time looked to have beaten us, but then we suddenly started to play. We'd given them far too much respect for the opening 60 minutes. When we started to pressure them we looked like we might get something out of the game, only for another mistake to kill us off. I'm getting more and more concerned about the defence. McNulty at centre half is looking less and less impressive with each game. He needs resting. Wiseman would have been the better option at right back today as Hassell was skinned time and again, but I'm saying that in hindsight. Not too deflated, but I hope some of these players we're bringing in are defenders.
Pretty much agree with most of that, especially regarding McNulty. He is looking very shaky these days. I'd bring back Edwards next week at Leicester and a new left back would be a bonus.
Agree Jay Perhaps they have watched us and knew exactly what to do to expose us? We've been persisting with pissing about at the back at the wrong times all season and it keeps costing us goals
We need 2-3 defenders as we are conceding at an alarming rate, 13 in last 4 homes games, we need to either loan champ or prem defenders or but them, league two / one defenders is not the answer.
