Re: Surprised at the post from blaenau gwent jack Unlike the Swansea fans of course who are such a friendly bunch - a few years ago we played 'em on a Bank Holiday Monday, August I think it was - about 45 of us were dropped off in the town centre at 11:30 and by 1pm we had been rounded up by the Police, put back on our bus and taken to the ground for our own safety. Not because we had done anything wrong, it was because they had 500 hooligans mobbed up about half a mile away waiting for us to arrive in 'their' pub. **** hole of the highest order, makes Barnsley look like Richmond-on-Thames!

Now putting the football on one side a moment, I can honestly say that Swansea is a piss poor city ...Cardiff has Great city center and then theres the bay... There is one place in Swansea thats ok and that west past the Uni's the Mumbles Oystermouth castle is there... That part is really nice , and of course venture a bit out of Swansea and you find the Gower Peninsula , now thats breathtakingly beautiful... but Wasted on the peasants down here.
