    Well I stand corrected but I'm amazed, especially as they only won narrowly.

    I suspect that it was like a training game for them though.

    Didn't realise they were still allowed to compete in the Welsh FA Cup

    I take it that it's just that they can't take up a European place

    surely they do if they win-UEFA Cup spot but only for welsh teams-I think Kidderminster entered one year but couldn't have taken it even if they'd won

    I think since formation of the League of Wales then those teams that compete in the English leagues are not allowed to take a Welsh UEFA cup place.

    Trundle, back from a hamstring injury, latched onto a Leon Britton pass to beat goalkeeper Andrew Delve at the start of the second period of extra-time.
    It came after </span><span style="COLOR: black; FONT-FAMILY: Arial">Swansea</span><span style="COLOR: black; FONT-FAMILY: Arial"> looked to be heading out of the competition they won last season as the Welsh Premier League side held a 2-1 lead with 90 minutes gone.
    </span><span style="COLOR: black; FONT-FAMILY: Arial">But substitute Andy Robinson met an Alan Tate cross with a superb overhead finish a minute into injury time to equalise and send the game into extra-time.
    </span><span style="COLOR: black; FONT-FAMILY: Arial">Swansea</span><span style="COLOR: black; FONT-FAMILY: Arial"> had taken the lead on a difficult surface when Britton's shot slipped through the grasp of Delve on the hour.
    </span><span style="FONT-FAMILY: Arial">But Carmarthen battled back to equalise through a deflected own goal from Sam Ricketts before Nathan Cotteral headed the home side into a shock lead straight after following a mistake by the unfortunate Ricketts.
    </span><span style="FONT-FAMILY: Arial">Swans boss Kenny Jackett, who fielded a strong line-up, was full of praise for battling </span><span style="FONT-FAMILY: Arial">Carmarthen</span><span style="FONT-FAMILY: Arial"> who did the Welsh Premier League proud.
