through this managment saga I have been in favour of an experienced manager (my choice Billy Davis) but as the well known managers are not prepared for the challanges at Barnsley I am being swayed towards Craig. Too many don't want flickers as he has been part of the set up that has draged us back to league 1 standards, so maybe it is time again to take a punt at someone with a pasion for the club, good contacts, a good insight into the game and above all something to prove. I for one was ready to turn my back on the club and refuse to renew my st and not watch league 1 footy but show us some spark and exiteing football and I will be there. So come on Don make an appointment and get the fans back
I am pretty much in-lien with you here. Would have preferred Billy Davies and did like the possibility of Terry Butcher.................but we've been knocked back so let's give it somebody who:- (a) desperately wants the job (b) is a BFC legend and will have best chance of dragging fans back (c) has been involved in football at high level and will have good contacts Appointing Hignett would be, on the whole, a positive move for BFC.
i used to believe that jesus christ was gonna return & give me everlasting life... we all have our pipe dreams
I would just like to get out of the nightmare we have been in for 2012........how's about you Peachey?
me too pal... I'm not a negative type of chap, but we have a big uphill struggle for a couple of years
PS don't confuse me with my arch nemesis John Peachey, who used to be a useless centre forward for barnsley
i live about 300 yards round the back of there ... don't drink there too much ... better beer elsewhere live here coz of work u can't run a credible dj company from barnsley sadly
Back down towards Cricket Ground? Headingley is a good spot with plenty of opportunity in your business area. I like a couple of all-day sessions up in Headingley during Summer months.......for obvious reasons !!!
no, i live other way over towards meanwood ridge - quieter & best of both worlds always some ladies round here... i'm nearly 50 now, so options a bit lower than 20 yrs ago when i moved here
Whats that boozer called across from Skyrack? It looks quite small from the front and then has a beer garden the size of Wembley !!!
Aye that's it.......beer garden reminds me of a German Beer Keller with all them tables lined up! Will do for sure.......be good to sit and talk BFC in the middle of a Leeds suburb.
