They deserve independence. We took them on after they had bankrupted their economy with their Darien expedition to a mosquito ridden area in the attempt to get a colony, and we have bent over backwards to assist and aid them over the years. They always quoted 'Butcher' Cumberland defeating them at Culloden, but forget that over 50% of his forces were Scots!
