**** the Tamiflu - The side effects are suppose to be worse than swine flu. Drug rushed onto the market? - Hope it isn't the next thalidomide ?
sounds like Man flu to me.....If you have flu you wouldnt be up at 7.00am messing about on here no wonder there has been thousands of reported cases If you avnt got a temperature of 38deg you ant got swine flu... they are dishing out Tamiflu like its going out of fashion..... as precautionary measure..putting the fear of god up everybody...the truth is.... take this test....if you were told that there was a £20 note at the bottom of your garden ...would you go and get it....if the answer is yes you avnt got Flu....simple... I`m 56yrs and add flu twice ..in my life time...when you have flu you would struggle to get out of bed to piss... thats flu....
Has Tamiflu been rushed on to the market or are you confusing it with the vaccine that is undergoing tests at the moment? Tamiflu has been around for a number of years and is a generic treatment for all types of Flu (i.e given to people when they have caught the virus). The vaccine currently under test will try and prevent people getting it in the first place.
Respect to you. It's what all us women have been telling our partners when they moan that they have flu!
Ti hear it from a man, well that's amazing
Well impressed (clap) (clap) (clap)

Well Tina ..credit where its due you women deserve a medal as big as a dustbin lid for living with men... I couldnt.. moaning whining.... just read 1/2 the messages on here....grumpy old men.. have nothing on some of this lot....
Probably not rushed as in development, but rushed as in mass production. Also worth reading about Oseltamivir (Tamiflu is a trade name of this manufactured by Roche) - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oseltamivir
Using Tamiflu sounds like chosing to be burnt or scalded. Tamiflu children suffer sickness and nightmares GalleryPublished Date: 31 July 2009 MORE than half of children taking Tamiflu experience side effects such as nausea and nightmares, two studies show. Data from children at three schools in London and one in south-west England showed many suffered such problems, including difficulty sleeping and feeling sick. The researchers behind one study said that children may have attributed symptoms due tADVERTISEMENTo other illnesses to Tamiflu, but say: "This is unlikely to account for all the symptoms experienced." The research published yesterday looked at side effects reported by pupils aged 11 and 12 in a secondary school year in south-west England. The school was closed for ten days after a pupil was confirmed with swine flu after a holiday in Cancun, Mexico. A total of 248 pupils took part in the study and were given Tamiflu as a prophylactic. Compliance was high, with 77 per cent of children taking the full course, the researchers, including experts from the Health Protection Agency (HPA) said. But they went on: "Fifty-one per cent experienced symptoms such as feeling sick (31.2 per cent), headaches (24.3 per cent) and stomach ache (21.1 per cent)." They said that some children had flu-like symptoms but did not have swine flu. The researchers said "likely side effects were common" and the "burden of side effects needs to be considered" when deciding on giving Tamiflu to children prophylactically, especially given that swine flu symptoms are generally mild. Another study, also by HPA experts, included 103 children. Of these, 85 took the drug prophylactically after a classmate was diagnosed with swine flu, and 45 experienced one or more side effect. The most frequently reported side effect was nausea (29 per cent), followed by stomach pain or cramps (20 per cent) and problems sleeping (12 per cent).
