just read your post from last night re Bruce, i have heard from a trusted scource that he is shceduled to play twickenham next year, if it is true i would expect at least 1 other stadium gig, he did old trafford about 3 or 4 years ago, brilliant concert including Jungleland and Sandy
RE: don't tell me aye, both nights, 1989 wasnt it, tunnel of love tour, also saw him at villa park and wembley for the amnisty international gig
1988 Not 1989 5 nights on the ToL Tour and 1 at Wembley for Amnesty's Human Rights Now tour opener. He played 1 1/2 hours on the latter. I've seen him do longer encores!!
2nd Night Was Even Better As he was leaving he was stood on top of a Mini Bus waving to the crowd. Not quite the best Bruce gig I've been to. 4th July '85 at Wembley takes that honour.
Also..... .... I assume we're talking Jack Bruce and not that over-rated gravelly voiced trailer trash geezer from't States.
RE: 2nd Night Was the longest gig ive ever been to think he played for 24 hours lol, can remember a tale about a yankee radio station once announcing at 7am in the morning that he was still onstage at some venue, hundreds of people went down, dickheads
didn't he play saturday and sunday? I went to see the 2nd one where it was nice and sunny whereas it had pissed it down during the first one
RE: didn't he play saturday and sunday? yes, i drove down to london after the sunday gig, went to see Michael jackson the next week, cant remember if it rained on the sat
amazing what there is on u tube gonna spend the next hour trying to spot myself in the crowd

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rm6__kgkeEo

Do you know Airtyke? He likes Neil Diamond too. Oh, and Kenny Rogers, Nana Mouskouri, Paperlace and the singing nun. Domin-nika nika nika...................etc
that version is on a cd single was one of the additional tracks, the video is also on his video anthology, have never seen myself on it though
