I can't imagine his wages would be cheap! I always liked him as a striker though, no idea what he's like these days. Wasn't he previously at PNE and Ipswich?

I don't think he's done much since his time at Wolves.

    Busted flush. Typical Saunders signing.

Very good signing. Championship quality if they keep him fit and would have got into any side in this league.

They sign him and Leon Clarke goes to Bury. Some very good strikers available this summer and hopefully we don't miss the boat!

Like Leroy Lita? Same age, same pedigree, same lack of game time, only with more injuries.

I bet he doesn't score ten goals.

Started 4 games in the last two seasons, scoring one goal.

    It's a gamble.

Not long since he was knocking upwards of fifteen goals a season in, in the second tier.

I'd rather we didn't go down that route this summer, but can see why players of his ilk might be of some appeal.

He was big at Plymouth before going to Wolves.

Same here but if they can keep Ebanks-Blake fit (which could be very doubtful with that fact of starting four games in the last two seasons) he is Championship quality in my personal opinion

If he is, I wonder why, if he was on loan at PNE last season, why dint they want him?
He seems to fall into the Leroy mold to me, maybe his best days are gone. But who knows..

He's injury prone. If they can't keep him fit, he's gonna be like Lita was with us and hopefully they don't because I can't stand Dean Saunders. I just think he could tear this league apart if they keep him fit. Is he worth the risk with his injuries? I'm not quite sure

He's done nothing of note for about 5 years now. Maybe if he can keep fit then he'll be a handful in this league, I just think it's too big a gamble.

Didn't he have a really bad injury other year. The way Beckford n Gardner played last season he was never going to be a regular starter. POTENTIALLY an excellent signing (but so was Lita)
