Well we've saved a fortune in paying him off and we're going to get compensation from Bristol. Plus a day out at Wembley. Not a bad end to the season from a financial point of view. Just goes to prove that there is no loyalty in football - except from the supporters. I'm not going to moan about him leaving having spent October, November and December saying I want him out, but if ever a manager owes a board a bit of loyalty it's ****ing Johnno.
I think it's a result for us. Bags of cash coming in from Wembley and compo for a manager who a few weeks ago couldn't get a point. I've no doubt we'll carry on improving this season. He'll have a nightmare if he goes to Bristol and although I've never really rated LJ, he owes Cryne big time for sticking by him. What is bizarre is the latest head **** stuff coming out of BFC.
The statement seems to be trying to send assurances to supporters but doesn't make appealing reader to a potential candidate looking in.
