It would be such a shame if either us or Peterboro went down after such a good half season and its hard to see the Fowls not getting something against Middlesborough
Millwall down would be the fairest result for me

Part of our problem, for a number of years now, has been our ability to perform well for half a season and bin the other half. Usually it's a decent enough first half, and then a slow slide into a dreadful new year - saved by a nail biting run in and some favours from some poor other bunch of *******s. This year it's the other way around and nobody is doing anyone any favours this year.

I pray to God that we get what we deserve - which in my eyes is safety - because unlike previous managers I don't Flicker giving us half seasons, I think he might be the first manager in a while that could actually give us consistency to allow us to climb out of the regular relegation dog fight. This being said - if we do get relegated, harsh as it would be on Flicker and this group of player - it's been coming for years and we might have used up all of our luck (if you believe in that).

Pulling the trigger on Keef probably came 2 games too late. But hindsight is a wonderful thing. IF we miss the cut next week, the most important thing is to keep Flicker. I'd be very confident that he'd bring us straight back up.

Looking at that you would have to say wolves and Millwall to join brizzle.

any result on tuesday plays to us in some way
palace win - puts millwall right back in the $hit on the last game
palace draw - millwall still not safe, palace will need to beat posh on last day
millwall win - palace will need to beat posh on last day

personally, i reckon a draw would be the best result

So you want one of our closest rivals for relegation to be safe so that our other closest rivals have an harder game next weekend?

We need Palace to beat Millwall, preferably 2 or 3-0. Gives us a lot more options for survival

Ballacks to the others, beat Robins team and we stay up. Play like we did yesterday and i doubt many teams will deal with our effort and endeavour!

but you could definitely argue that peterborough will get a much tougher game, if palace need a result on the final day to secure play off spot. if they beat millwall on tuesday, they wont need a result on saturday and players will be rested for play offs

Of all the teams at the bottom, Millwall are in the worst form this year and are less likely to get anything from Derby on the last day than Peterborough against Palace. Two defeats to Millwall (2-0,2-0 or similar) and a draw to us and they are below us without a win.

Ideally, we want a win and we are safe, but I wouldn't like to have to escape Huddersfield having relegated their side on the last day...

You have to assume Peterboro will get their win or at least a point and Wednesday will have to implode to lose against Middlesboro, That said Wednesday are stuck on their points and should have been safe by now. The momentum is with us, Posh and dare I say it Huddersfield. It's on the day. The only thing that's certain is a win is enough and a defeat sends us down. So we play for a win. Let everyone else worry about the what ifs and maybes
