Tactics? Team selection? all just a big joke

What a long long day made to feel worse by what can only be one of the worst halves I've seen from any Barnsley team.

Before the game, you could see the car crash coming. I've had a skim through the forum but not really looked too much at whats been said and yet to listen to any of the post match press conferences.

LJ must have got that team sheet and thought it was an early/ late April fools. Laughing all the way to three of the easiest points of the season.

Let's not think it's funny though for us Barnsley fans that travelled or some of the players actually.

Jacob Brown, Not only does he see Tom Bradshaw (Rotherham and Walsall must be doing cartwheels) start in front of him then he brings on Stephan Payne on too. They are both awful. Jacob's a nice guy but if it was me, i'd be banging that hard on the office door i'd put a hole straight throw it.

For those that say, well it's just pre season and it doesn't matter. Like someone said to me today. What's happened today was on show against National League players at Guiseley

Also - have you ever met Bobby Hassell? Or Andy Yiadom? Or Paul Heckingbottom? Or Luke Steele?

 

Did any of that cause the players to cause soft as **** goals to be score against them?

 

Phil you have every right to be angry but you're blaming the wrong man. Hecky is the best manager we've had in a long time, he's a Barnsley fan, he's one of us.

You need to look elsewhere to see where the problem is.

I'm fully well aware of that there are problems but the post was about today. That includes selection and tactics. The performance of most was poor from the players.

 

He's a football manager, not a miracle worker. They may be his players but he's being asked to do his job with both his hands tied. Even some of the Bristol City fans on their forum can see what the problem is.

 

And that is what matters.
