My dads just come home from work, and I also got told the same in the ground that the takeover will be completed in the next fortnight. A Spanish consortium, and something to do with Glen Hoddle, Ossie Ardillis, and Benny Carbone? Apparently they've paid for our recent loan signings. Believe what you want, im not so sure myself.

You sure it wasn't Eileen Drewery who paid for the loan signings if Hoddle is involved? Maybe she will be taking over from The Don?

An English man, Argentine and Italian are the three people named for a Spanish consortium :)

It sounds like Somethjng you couldn't make up BUT I was informed last week that their had been no contact from that consortium now for a number of weeks and that the money for the loan signings came from the budget.

I don't know about it sounding like something you couldn't make up. You can make up all kinds of **** if you're so inclined.

I've heard we're going to be taken over by a Dutch consortium headed by Frans Thijssen and Arnold Mühren along with John Deacon, the bass player from Queen. Apparently they've got Frank Rijkaard lined up as manager, who will quit is job as Saudi Arabia coach as he's grown tired of the desert and has always fancied managing an English club.
