    Wonder if the potential takeover will be in time to help Hecky in this transfer window. Last thing they will want is for us to be cut adrift before the next window. Shame it didn't happen during the summer.

    Wind your neck in kid, I was just saying we might be able to bring in more experience to help these young lads, with new owners that might give us access to a different level of player.

    Or since the end of Jan and the transfer window closing we have played 21 league games and managed 3 wins and 8 draws. That's 21 points. Average that out over a season that's 37 points.
    Now i know its not that simple but my goodness its worrying form. I personally believe the current squad is not good enough to stay up. I hope i am wrong but i think anoyone who is concerned has every reason to be.

    I was thinking same we have a 15 page thread and 2 separate threads. Give it a rest if it happens it happens no point keep going on about it in sure we know more before the month ends.

    Hecky implied that more experienced players are needed in his interview yesterday. I happen to agree with him so hopefully this will be addressed with or without the takeover.

    This is a bold assumption but if the takeover does happen then it could change the targets that Hecky has in mind.

    I think this squad is more than capable of staying up it,s just blind panic because we have lost a few games.
    Anyone that thinks they are going to come in and spend millions it just ain't gonna happen so I wouldn't,t get too excited.

    Hecky also talks about "the next level" I take that as holding on to our better players longer, and signing players we currently would not be going for... ie Ollie Watkins at 1-8 million..

    If anyone truly think we will be going for thr Jordan Rhodes type at 10 million I would say they are insane..We will keep doing the same as now, but step it up a gear....

    But to not be able to keep the scowen Roberts Watkins at the club was a real sign that we are not a championship club behind the scenes. Its one think to lose your best players but to lose all your players to teams who we are competing against is another
