or being sensible with your money, I got a bit of stick yesterday which I reckon is unjustified. I may try a bit of soup at the next game!
My Dad has been taking a flask of bovril for years mind you he is well into his '70s' Its not the money though its the not having to queue to get it
RE: My Dad has been taking a flask of bovril for years I don't think that helped, although the queuing excuse isn't bad.
Just don't drink four cups then spend the second half with your legs crossed. It was touch and go yesterday.
Taking a flask to the match is a tradition tea is vile in a flask tho. We take hot choc in winter wi sometimes a spot of amaretto in it Life at the Top the book of BFC in the Prem famously opened with the lads who had taken flasks of chardonnay!
A bit of both When it's cold though I like to have a warm drink at half time - coffee from the kiosk is 1. expensive (£1.80?!) 2. tastes like dishwater 3. lukewarm So better to take a flask - had hot chocolate for the last couple of games.
Where I sit there's a significant number of flask carrying people of pension age when they all open their flasks at half time there's an alcoholic haze that is released that's strong enough to knock out a rhino.
I've heard that sometimes they even put a drop of coffee in the whisky !!!!!

They can't make "black coffee" in the stadium Last time I asked, the catering staff said that the coffee and milk poweder are already mixed together. Yuk! I take a flask sometimes, when it's a bit nippy...
You could allus take a CamelBak if you want to be down with the kids. You can drink throughout the match, even whilst celebrating a goal and not scald the unfortunate in front too. Not sure it'll keep thi tea warm though.
