'taking spice off kids'........but other than that debacle its been a good day so far

'taking spice off kids'...............as in............. 'lets go to Barnsley; they are always good for letting a player go for nowt'.
So we got half of what we all expected for Stones.
But did us fans actually think Barnsley would get the going rate............no of course not
It hasn't happened since PC took over ........so its not going to happen now.


But other than that debacle.............its been a really good day so far

Out...........Edwards, Collins, Done, Mido............which were all dead wood (although the bit I saw of Collins I thought he would become a decent player). Got these players off the wage bill so better players can be brought in.

In..............Delap, young defender from Bury and O'Grady...........especially chuffed to get O'Grady because O'Grady under the guidance of Flicker can really make a difference to our strike force

Thats the two strikers we needed...........Scotland and O'Grady
All we need now is a tall commanding centre back
