Was going to purchase a ticket for the leyton orient game. Adults £23, Unemployed £15!! Hang on a minute the working people getting penalised by something in London. Now there's something new. Shove your ticket up your arse!

Well done Mrs Thatcher. You've managed to inspire a generation of your children.

My values since I was a child is work for money. If you want to do something save up for it. Yet again we get penalised for working by getting charged an extra £8! Absolute disgrace

I wish our club would do a similar thing for those out of work who still want to support their club. £23 for someone in work and £15 for someone out of work? Seems about right to me. But then I'm obviously ignorant of the fact that all out of work human beings are lazy, feckless, workshy basterds.

I've much more of an issue with members of the armed forces only paying £15...Do they not receive a decent salary?

What about the Billy No Mates discrimination for tomorrow's game £23 if you're a BNM £5 if you have a vague acquaintance with a season ticket . It's tough being a loner and more expensive Justice For BNM's

They are employed in a job they chose...why should they receive preferential treatment to tens of thousands working for a minimum wage?

That's not the point though for me. The way I see it is that football is a luxury not a necessity like clubs like to make us believe. If you can't afford it then you should have to save up like the rest of us until you can afford to go.

For the job they do, probably not, no. In any case, I don't think the lower price for the armed forces is a reflection of their wage, more like a thank you for the work they do. I know lots of people have important jobs, lots of people help others, and while a good deal of us are against many of the wars successive governments have got us in to, I don't think any of us fail to realise the bravery of the people who have to go out there to fight. A small price reduction at a football match seems small consolation for what they've done.

As for the OP, working people are not being discriminated against, the base price isn't £15 which is raised if you're in work. The price is £23. Those with a smaller income like kids, OAPs and the unemployed are offered a discount to temp them to come along.

I know lads in the forces, they're able to get into all games for reduced prices. Same for cinema and other hobbies/activities. I've no problem with that. I get 20% off my shopping at Morrisons.

    Winning.

They should play more games in the morning to get more shift workers in who can afford to pay but only because they work evenings , unemployed could go and they could set up a 'Pop up' Job Centre in Redferns . Who works 9-5 anyway everybody's on flexi

Got a mate who was in the Navy for 20 odd years...the nearest he came to danger was screwing whores in the Far East. The last ten years was spent behind a desk in chuffin Surrey and being bloody well paid to do so...Hope the tw4t doesn't hear of the "bring a mate for a fiver deal..."
