that in a "village" of about 10 houses, the cafe is always full, the pub is always full, there's always someone in the shop, the church has a massive congregation, it can support an antiques shop, a car repair garage, a factory, a family run construction and refuse business, everybody always has time to go to the pub, the pub's always open, nobody really has a proper job yet can afford to always suggest going to said pub and spending fortunes daily in there, there are buses several times a day, there are loads of schoolkids getting on and off the bus, there's always lots of people wandering around the village....... Any more?
Ey, what ! It is real. But ah'll tell thi summat, now we live in a tiny village nr Lincoln I'm always on the lookout for some of that Emmerdale lifestyle in our place, but guess what.... zippo, zilch, nowt ! There's no sexy lasses walking round Fillingham begging for it, no good looking lesbians to peer through the curtains at, no sexy vet receptionists, no big-bosomed Aussie barmaids, there isn't even a scarecrow competition. But we do have a village hall that's never used, a church that has a congregation of about 6 every fortnight, some trees, and, and...... erm.... And now you tell me Emmerdale Farm isn't real.......
RE: Ey, what ! Damn, I'm sorry mate for shattering your illusion! If you want real excitement, move to Tattershall, it's got a Castle, and some houses, and errrr..... Hope your well!
RE: Ey, what ! Yes but he speaks like something not real ! Some of his verbal juxtapositions make him sound like a comedy turn.... and I'm sure that's not intended.
RE: Ey, what ! Richard Moore (Jarvis) is a great bloke. He's a season ticket holder at Turf Moor and is often in the Foundation Bar before a game. Anybody can go in there although it costs £2 for non members. He's always willing to sign autographs and have a chat.
