    You’re right, he did say that. I suppose it depends how you’d define “good money”. Wages included I guess we’ve saved quite a bit from the sale.

    Nothing groundbreaking. Got decent money for Cauley. Others will leave but only at the right price. No fire sale but sales ultimately out of his control, acknowledging there is a financial hole to fill. Wade Elliott being appointed new Cheltenham boss hence he’s not come with him.

    I felt he was setting quite a low bar in short term. Talked about how tough League 1 was and how this was a long term project to become an established championship club. I’ve no problem with that personally, a bit of realism is refreshing after the ‘Conway Years’.

    Likes his indie / Brit pop. Doesn’t really have time to discover new stuff. Bemoaned the lack of guitar music in modern day dressing rooms!

    It was a decent listen to be fair, he speaks really well.

    We won’t have had to give a chunk to Fulham. Likely too low an amount for the 50% to kick in.

    Was it definitely 50% of the transfer fee would go to Fulham? Or 50% of the profit? Or 50% of anything over 2 million quid? Does anyone actually know?

    I’ve seen a few figures bounced around now but that wouldn’t be too shabby when including the wages I suppose.

    Hopefully, with them being international players, we’ll get a decent chunk for Helik and Styles to limit other outgoings.

    Anybody else find it concerning that he hadn't a clue Woodrow was being sold?

    Surely he would have been made aware of any bids that had been received and not just turned up Monday morning wanting to speak to Cauley to find out he's down south

    He will more than likely have been told the players likely to leave before he started and the black hole in finances we have.
    I dont think managers are ever consulted on transfer bids.

    Look at it this way.. the more the board get for player sales. The less likely it is they'll have to put their hands in their pocket's again.

    Take note of what Jean Cryne said.. and trust the board.. Actually at the end of the day you've no choice.

    He also said his family are from Cheltenham so wouldn’t be moving up.
