    Yep, the match at the Rec was pretty unsavoury all round. Alex Callery has retired from football after the kicking he got because with a young family he can't afford to get injured and not be working. But hey, he was getting paid so apparently he deserved it... Some of the Rec players and fans need to calm down a bit and remember it's just a game of football...

    Eyup fella, got to agree and disagree with what you've posted. I don't think the match was anymore or less 'unsavoury' than any match I've watched at that level. There were a couple of challenges that weren't nice and one was a red IMHO! I caught 60 mins yesterday and saw the same from both teams.

    If the lad who retired can't afford to be off work (which I finished for the same reason) then I applaud him for making that decision for his family. I've not heard/witnessed/read any 'he deserves it' remarks and if I did I'd have my say.

    Hope for a good Un Tues. cheers
