Tasks for Davey this summer

6 things Davey needs to do...

Sell Howard - £1-2m is more use to us than a decent player who only played well every third game.
Sever ties with Nardiello for good.
Bring back Mostto and Werling. Both deserve another shot. Werling was a dangerous and a unique player.
Sign a striker (with pace, we have too many who play with their back to goal which is why all our goals come from midfield.)
Clear out the crap
pray that muller and andeson come back soon

do you really think we would still be in this division without howard? take away his goals and see how many points we have left. its no coincidence that he is the only player we have being linked with a big money move

How many has Brian scored from open play this season?
just about all his goals are from penaltys which meens if hadnt have taken them some body else would have

 

can't believe some people..

Howard has been fantastic this season in most games. Campbell-Ryce is the player to run at defenders with pace.. only problem, like all other players in Davy's team is he has to defend too often to be causing as many problems to opposition as he could.

If Macken had taken all the penalties, he would be top scorer.

 

winner against plymouth, equaliser against cardiff, first goal against watford, hat trick against ipswich......need i go on?

 

but he didnt which means a MIDFIELDER is our top scorer. the majority of his goals coming from open play

Howard Getting Slagged Off Is Stupid

For all the negative comments he gets on here, i'm surprised he came second in the player of the year contest. His winner at Anfield is my third favourite Tarn moment of all time after the Bradford match and Millenium Stadium play off final. Praise the guy (Y) (Y) (Y)

Doesn't matter how many penalties he has scored a goal is a goal whether its from 1 yard 12 yards or 50 yards! For me he should have been player of year due to his goals cos without them we would have been fecked!

He has been quality for us and definately doesnt deserve the comments he's getting at the moment, BUT I agree I do think he should leave!

Didn't say that! Plus Macken didn't take them Howard did so its a pointless arguement!

 

Could agree with most of that. But Howard? He is called Sir Bri in our house. The lad wears his heart on his sleeve for Barnsley. His goals alone should be enough. And I dont care that there are 7 penalties in there. He has had the bottle to take them and to score them all. Easily. He doesnt look like missing a penalty. Another player may well have missed at least 1 of them. He shouldn't be expected to be the star show every week. But what we can expect is for our skipper to lead us with passion and commitment. And he does just that. It will be a sad day if he leaves us.

 

Well said. Howard is the most natural finisher at the Club.
One of the few who does`nt mess his pants when in front of goal and would be harder than most think to replace.
