On Radio 5 this morning, mentioned some Sunderland fans getting kicked off an Easy Jet flight from Bristol to Newcastle following their match at Cardiff due to raucous behaviour when they spotted Niall Quinn in the queue. Quinn paid £8,000 to hire taxis to get them all back to Sunderland!
Who cares? Me, yes, what's your problem with that? I'm a football supporter who would love this sort of fantastic offer from my club and Quinn deserves complementing for that. It's people that post to other people's posts with sarky, unwitty remarks that need to get a life. Can I ask why you read this thread and my post if you don't care? You make me laugh.
soz hard........... bet you were one of them who applauded lucas when he was being stretchered off on saturday wernt you?
Fecking hell fire The guy just knocked himself out playing for our club. Even if it was the Derby 'keeper I would've applauded him and given him my best wishes as he went off. I really hope you're on a wind up.
not me I booed him off. booo gerroff ya bag of ****. how dare you get injured. It's my birthday soon, i'm a sad Barsteward. My name's mark and i'm from wombwell.
shouldnt have come racing out then should he im sorry i just never get the applauding someone whos got injured off thing. never have. if i were to injure myself at my place of work, would the company and its workers applaud me as i go to hospital?? no. yes, maybe its a bit heartless and whatever, but i've just never understood it. its a mans game.
RE: soz hard........... What's your point? That I care about BFC players? Surprisingly as a supporter of the club, yes.
It's customary to applaud any player if they are carried from the field Whether from your own team or the opposing team. It's called showing respect and that you hope the injury is not serious!
