    A 13-year-old girl has died after a boulder hit her on the head when she fell into a quarry in South Yorkshire.
    It is thought the girl was playing with friends when she fell into the quarry off Cemetery Road in Grimethorpe, Barnsley, on Wednesday night.

    I know there is a quarry where Carlton Brickworks is/was - wouldn't say it was "off Cemetery Road though"

    It's not far from there.....Brickworks have been there years, Quarry is what was bottom field close to the pit buildings

    yes, knew last night, place was swarming with cops and helicoptor was out also. i knew the girl, she was mates with my stepdaughter and sometimes came to the house.

    How can anyone cope with a loss of someone so young?? and so precious as a Daughter . God bless all the loved ones left behind.
