    Great to give some of the reserves a run out and pleased Smith and Helliwell have made their debuts. Big night for those boys, whatever the competition. Pleased it was against Bradford not an U21 team.

    People weren’t knocking it for the potential good, or bad entertainment. They knocked it because of what they’ve done to it. Allowin Premier League under 21s into it. It was supposed to be about 2 lower league teams having a day out at Wembley and earning a bit of cash on the way. I’m glad we won and used quite a lot of the kids tonight. I’m also pleased that by accounts so far it’s been an entertaining game especially for the people that turned up at Oakwell.
