Tbh I'm not too bothered about Butcher saying no

A good record in Scottish football is nothing to get excited about. Given the lifestyle he has up there I never thought he was going to take the job anyway.
I'm just more annoyed at the time we have wasted massaging his big ego.
As I've said before, we now need to concentrate on the people who have actually applied for the job, i.e.actually expressed an interest in doing it.
I'd narrow it down to a choice between Megson and Ince, although I have to admit the Hignett/Cole pairing captures my imagination. Maybe, just maybe...it's a gamble worth taking?
