    Austin Reid Nyatanga Eckersley
    Devaney Togwell McCann Howard
    Rajczi Ferenczi

Subs: Lucas, Kay, Reid, Richards, Hassell

Although I would prerfur Reid to start ahead of Devaney I dont think it will happen.

1-1 draw for. and i'll take it especially with Leeds playing Luton.

RE: is eckersley injured or something?

i dont get why anyone would play Heckingbottam unless there was no other choice. He's a crap enough defender as it is but because Howard drifts in all the time he's even more exposed. Sunderland will have him on toast. Roy keane isnt stupid, he'll look at our weaknesses at exploit them.

Honestly don't think Eckersley is any better than Heckingbottom - nowt to choose if you ask me

    RE: Man United youth links...

I bet Eckersley wants to be out there today. There will be at least a couple of his youth mates from Man United playing for Sunderland - Jonny Evans and the right back. I bet he would turn in a good show in the circumstances. It is good for us that Carlos Edwards is out - big pacy threat down our left flank. I'm not sure whether it is to our advantage that Yorke is out, as Leadbitter, Murphy and the like are also quality players. I have a funny feel about this one. Games which we are not expected to win/draw are the ones in which we do tend to spring surprises. I fear a leaky defence drubbing, have it down for a 1-1 draw, but, you never know, we might just scrap out all three.

This is the team I would pick. 5 int middle to try and get hold of the game. Ferenczi is good enough and works hard enough to play up front on his own.

    -----------------Colgan

    Austin-----Reid-------Kay------Nyatanga

    -----------------Togwell

    Devaney--McCann--Howard--K Reid

    -----------------Ferenczi

Cant really agree on that. Maybe in the past but not this season, apart from the stoke game every decent side in this league has beaten us. we're only where we are due to our ability to beat those around us.

    subs
    lucas,reed,nardiello,kay,eckersley

I would prefer lucas in for colgan
    eckersley for heckingbottom

    2-1 to us (HOPEFULLY)

Wolves, WBA, Stoke x2, Plymouth. Give us some credit. We have had some decent results against sides in the top half.
