lets attack them! 4-4-2 with pace on the wings in Reid & Devaney and height up front with Richards & Feneczi..... predict 2-2 draw

    COLGAN

    HASSEL
ATKINSON - picked because of Kays lack of discipline against QPR
P.REID - top display against QPR, what we expect to see from him week in week out!
    ECKERSLEY

K.REID - more attacking option, and allows howard to work through the middle
    HOWARD
    TOGWELL
    DEVANEY

FENENCZI - give him a start, possible switch for hungry pete 2nd half
RICHARDS - top display against QPR, can't be dropped after that performance!

SUBS: LUCAS, MCCANN, RAJCZI, KAY, TONGE

    Changes:
Kay, showed a total loss of discipline against QPR that could have ultimatley cost us the game! Sort it out!!!!
Nardiello, getting a regular run now but isn't producing the goods! personally think he's better coming off the bench.
Mattis, not yet proven but think Tonge give us more options from the bench!

if im honest id rather have the other hungry pete starting.. got better scoring record... so paired with richards i think they'd be a god partnership.... as for dropping kay... well 1 bad moment in a great season for him!!! wouldnt dream of dropping him

Kay has to start in front of atkinson. He didn't have the best game on tuesday, but he's still the best center half out of the three. We won't (I hope) start with kyel reid. Why would we play mccann at home in a bottom of the table clash, but go gung ho with a more attacking player away against a top side. And I would start with rajczi simply because he has been here longer, and should have more familiarity after a couple of training sessions than the new bloke.

I'll go along with that, true Kay did have a poor game tuesday, but i would put him in simply because if any defender that can match Chopra kay can. Besides he is mates with Chopra so he will be wanting to get one over on him. We hope.

I would play both Hungarians on Friday from the start.

They can communicate with each other and may already have an understanding / partnership.

"may already have an understanding / partnership"

Is that because they're both Hungarian? Do all English forwards who have never played together already have an understanding/partnership because they speak the same language?

    No.

Just expressing an opinion. They have both played international football for Hungary and may have trained or played together. Not got a clue.

One thing I am certain about though is if you partnered them together they would have a better understanding than any other combination which included either one of them and Rico or Nardi or Hayes etc.

Stick with McCann and Togwell in centre

For me having these two in the middle is one of the main reasons we've kept 2 clean sheets on the bounce.

Howard is great creatively but does give the ball away too often. If he loses the ball out wide there's more chance of the midfield or full backs being able to cover him.

Kay was excellent against Luton but poor against QPR but he's still our best central defender (or maybe Hassel ?).

agree totally about keeping howard out wide

gives him far more opportunities to get forward and be creative

Anthony Kay is our best centre half - not even a debate

made a mistake against Wednesday and got out of position a few times on Tuesday, but its no coincidence that after he's been reinstated to the team that we've kept 2 clean sheets. He does all Reids shouting and organising for him and wins more in the air, makes more last ditch tackles and is, for me, the first name on the team sheet. Without him, we leak goals.

watch him get sent off tomora nar.

    I'd go for..

Colgan, Hassell, Kay, Reid, Eckersley, Devaney, McCann, Togwell, Howard, Richards, No.13 Hungarian.
Bench: Lucas, Atkinson, Mattis, K.Reid, No.9 Hungarian.

Nardy needs to be dropped for once.

    I'd debate it......

He's not a patch on Reid. Just because Kay is from Barnsley he doesn't get half the stick Reid gets, yet he makes as many if not more mistakes. Coupled with the fact that once he decides he wants to give a foul away he always does. I'd have brought him off against QPR. If he had pace he'd be a liabililty.

Reid is our captain. 3 different managers have kept him there. So, with 3 managers and myself thats 4 people who don't agree with you.

How about Togwell's lack of discipline?

Well on the way to double figures for yellow cards, yet you have included him in the lineup. What gives?

    Another blind fecker.

Tuesday was the best game I've seen Reid have in a year.
I'd rather base my opinion on the 50 games in which he's been ***** ... and the 50 games that Kay has been amongst our best.

Reid - slow, poor in the air, cannot organise - even though he has the armband.
Kay - has a bit of pace, decent in the air, constantly trying to get people into position - as a captain should be doing.

We've just missed out on Zakuani & Fortune, who have both gone to Stoke.
    We should've been conkers deep.
