Give the under 18s a run out.
    They can't do any worse.

    Helik
    Sibbick
    Kitching

    Brittain
    Vita (worth a try)

    Gomes
    Palmer
    Styles/Hondermarck

    Woodrow
    Iseka

when you actually try and pick a midfield the options there are league one standard. You have the choice of 4/5 and none of them really stand out. Crying out for an experienced head. Gomes and hondermark don't have 10 pro starts between them. They need bodies in the middle to help.

I would go 352 as well.

He always goes 343 with the player selection chamging every week. I think if everyone had a go at picking a team for today no one would pick the same as Schopp does.

Issue is as well as playing bad recently we are very predictable. Weve played same system snd formation every game so far.

Only unpredictable thing is which defender hes going to play up front!

I would go with only two up front as we haven’t got 3 good strikers fit at moment

Based on the fact he won’t change shape, for some reason, I just hope we’ve got Frieser in the team as I think we’ll need to give them zero time on the ball when they’re looking for their 30th pass in a row and have 68% possession.

Would also like to get the back three back to being Sibbick, Helik and Kitching.

It's really bizarre that he won't change the shape, considering he said when he came to the club that he doesn't like playing 3-4-3

I don’t understand it. It’s as if he thinks the players can’t play any other formation or that there would be uproar on the terraces.

I’d love him to turn it around, for obvious reasons, but I can’t see it. And when we look back at why he failed, they’ll be the turmoil of the Summer and lack of support from the club, but a lot of it will be how he never put his own vision on the team. At least go out fighting on your own terms.

I would go with nearly all of that. The defence hasn't been good but the spotlight/flak has been taken off them by our lack of goals at the other end of the pitch. I would actually drop Brittain. I think Vita deserves a chance and I would put Styles to where Brittain plays as he's better suited. Then I would add Oulare because if he can't do a full game I would rather start him with him knowing he's coming off at half time so can run himself in to the ground, rather than bring him on again with twenty to go with the match already lost.

Be surprised to see Oularé make the bench today.

Would like to see a whole host of changes but can't see it happening.

We seem to almost universally agree that he needs an extra body in midfield.
    Can we all be wrong?

If we're struggling for centre halves, to the point where we have to give a first ever league start to a young midfielder in that position, don't play three centre halves. Hardly the most radical of thinking but it doesn't appear to have occurred to Schopp.

But we know what the reason is for not changing the shape. The CEO told us they play the way they do to increase player value not that anybody else believes losing every week will increase their value.

    Agree

The manager should pick the style and shape.

So if it's not what MS wants to do they picked the wrong bloke.

Either way, the way we are playing now, even if it's the "boards" choice and not the manager, they are devaluing everyone except Brad Collins. Cos we look horrendous. How anyone can increase in value they way we are playing I've no idea
