Barnsley's squad continues to grow, now 7 loans in, taking the first team up to a total of 27 fit players, with only Scowen out injured I believe. So who does he pick? Only 5 loans allowed in match day squad, so I reckon Wilkinson and Isgrove will probably miss out...

    Davies
    Bree Long Nyatanga White
    Watkins Pearson Hourihane Hammill
    Toney Winnall

Subs: Townsend, Williams, Wabara, Jackson, Smith (M), Abbott, Mawson

That would mean Roberts, White, Wilkinson, Digby, Isgrove, Smith (G), Maris, Templeton and Cowgill all miss out...

    I think we'll go 352 with

    Bree Mawson Long Nyatanga White

    Hourhane Pearson

    Hammill

    Winnall Toney

or we stick with 442 and drop either Nyatanga or Mawson. Either of those sides i'll be happy with

I don't think there's anyway he'll be playing two up front tomorrow. Hence Toney dropped, maybe Mawson in midfield. I'd drop Nyatanga and play Roberts

    4-5-1. (4-3-3 in attack)

Is what I reckon he'll go with.

Aye, that's whats supposed to happen, but very rarely does. We seem to end up with 5 strung around outside the box/out wide, with only one inside the box. It's getting a tad frustrating ...

Can't see him dropping Mawson, even if performances deserve it

That would be Johnson going Backwards I'm afraid absolutely pointless playing Hammill anywhere else other than the Left Midfield / Wing it's where he will affect the Games even more as he gets more Match Fitter !!

Also got to start Bree he was really good last week a lot better than Wabara has been recently you have to as a Manager reward good Performances got to play players on merit and most importantly in form players so to even consider playing M.Smith over Toney is beyond me he's been awful and Toney been the Completely the opposite in the limited performances I have seen him !!

    Go 4-4-2

    Davies
    Bree Long Nyatanga White
    Watkins Mawson Hourihane Hammill
    Toney. Jackson

    Subs Townsend , Wabara , Roberts , Pearson , Isgrove , Williams , Winnall .

Get Mawson in there to play the Erik Dier Spurs/England Role of Sitting in there so these 2 Attacking Full Backs can Bomb on and Overlap our Wingers l also Mawson brings a far better Goal Scoring threat from Set-pieces and Open play than Pearson ! (I also understand this May not be on Merit of late it just I think if he plays him as explained it will hopefully balance a really attack minded Team/Set-up for once and Pearson hadn't been pulling up any trees of late either both at fault last week for a goal apiece !!

I also think Jackson deserves a fair crack of the Whip give Him at least a Run of 3-4 Games to see if he can rediscover that goal scoring form he showed is is earlier career instead of a game here and a game there I mean how many chances as the Waste of space M.Smith had for **** sake !!

I took him signing Long as a sign that he'd realised Mawson has been ***** of late. If he sticks him in midfield I think I'll explode.

4-4-2 in general worked well last Saturday. Port Vale's goals came from individual errors by Pearson & Mawson & we were solid other than that which is why I wouldn't make too many changes other than bringing the new loanees in & playing Winnall up top with Watkins going right wing instead of Isgrove.

    Davies
    Bree Long Nyatanga White
    Watkins Pearson Hourihane Hammill
    Winnall Toney

Subs - Townsend, Wabara, Mawson, Williams, Isgrove, Jackson, M. Smith
