will Eckersley and Hassell come back in? they would be the only changes I'd make. I'd also like to see Davey mix it up a bit more and give Reid and Jones a run out if things arent going well insetad of leaving untill the 80th minute before making changes.

    keep the same side!

although confusion with LW/CM needs to be sorted out....

ie McCann being in middle, howard out left...

Howard keeps drifting in a lot, leaving the LB a bit exposed...

RE: all the more reason to bring back Eckersley.

why have our weakest player as the most exposed?

to be fair, I have given hecky some stick, but I think we are more prone at the back with eckers...

eckers is too used to "nicey nicey" football, and no way used to the hussle and bussle of a relegation scrap.

Never thought I would say this, but as I said the other day, I would leave hecky in for now.

Our main problem at the LB spot is directly related to whoever is playing in front of them at LW and always has been, with disco and macindoe, we were far too exposed as they did nothing defensive wise...

True hecky is not really at the top of the championship defensive league, but he looks a safer bet to me than eckers (unless eckers can adjust sharpish)

back in the pride of Yorkshire!
Sky Sports reported this morn that Nyatanga and Reid will start at the back, but didn't mention our lb or rb places

Think Hassel sholud come straight back into starting line-up but keeep Hecky at left back. Think Howard still needs to be playe in CM not LM. But Grant McCann is doing a OK job there, would still prefer Howard though!

I would keep Hecky in and put Bobby back in as he is probably our most consistant defender.

Finally some one who agrees with my preference of Hecky at Left-back! I agree with you on the Hassel choice.

Only onechange - Bring back Hassell.

Eckersley no better than Hecky from what I have seen. He's done ok but I think the situation we are in is restricting is normal style of play!

I also agree about the LB spot. Eckersley hasn't been very impressive so far defensively and the last few games have seen hecky put in two ok performances. Hecky is the best of a bad bunch at LB. Would bring Bobby straight back in though. When fit he should play. Other than that, same team. McCann has done a good job in the middle, although Howard is better, but if he plays middle who plays LM. Dont think Reid is good enough defensively to start and McCann looks lost out wide.

Norwich's main threats come down the flanks in the form of Lee Crofts, who tore Williams to shreds at Carrow Road, and Darren Huckerby down the left. Hassell played Huckerby out of the game as orthodox right back until the sending off of Kay, when he moved, eventually, to the middle (ish). Crofts was match-winner at Carrow Road, so it is a question of who can keep pace with him best. I think Heckingbottom may not have Eckersley's pace, but his experience might swing it. I'd go for a back four of Hassell Reid Nyatanga and Heckingbottom. Norwich defended poorly at Luton on Tuesday, but their attack looks likely to be quick on the break. Lappin likely to go left back and Fotheringham wide midfield.
