Colgan Hassell Reid Carbon Williams Shuker Burns Tonge Devaney Conlon Hayes Subs Flinders Atkinson Wroe Nardiello Richards
Probably Although personally would prefer Tonge at right back and can see Wroe getting the nod in midfield. we're close to being down to the bare bones, for sure.
Need a couple of loan players to shore it up... Must be regretting signing two injured players now...
Need a goalscorer we can paper over the cracks and make do in other areas if we look like scoring goals, which at the moment, we dont. 3 games, no goals.
Conlon shouldve burried the header first half criminal that he didnt. he did several nice 360 degree turns though, on the half way line, 5 minutes a piece, followed by the obligatory pass backwards. applauded by the conaseurs of link play around me. ****.
What gets me is Pre season people were saying how good and mobile Hayes and Nardiello looked pulling defences about and stuff yet despite a severe shortage og goals and mobility Ritchie can't seem to see beyond set striking partnerships
RE: What gets me is Played well as a partnership 1st half against Swindon , don't think they've been paired since then. This would be my striking partnership of choice.
RE: What gets me is Hayes has not been scoring, nardiello hasnt even been getting into the game (although not starting doesnt help) and we all know conlons strengths and weaknesses. So I would give Richards a start, probably with conlon away from home, and either hayes/nardiello at home.
RE: What gets me is Would'nt have any problem with Richards either my main point was at least do something
RE: Apparently.. Is Conlon the only one who should be scoring then? Is he the only one who isn't scoring? Aren't there other people in the attacking section of our team or is he the only one? Do we expect him to be target man, striker, runner off the ball and general jack of all trades, or shouldn't Hayes, who will be costing us £150,000 be at least doing some of it. What did he do on Saturday? because for the life of me, I can't remember him even getting into their penalty area, at least not when we were kicking into the Ponty end. I am not trying to make out that Conlon is the best front man in the league, just pointing out that however good or bad you think he is, he isn't supposed to do it all by himself.
