That would be perfect way to reopen the LJ is tactically inept and we are no better than the first part of the season thread.
I'd be happy with that because our loans won't be here next season. I don't think Cranie will be either so i'd play Holgate in the centre where he's suppose to play and have Williams at right back.
The team I'd like to see, but I know we won't is: .....................................Davies..................................... ...................Cranie Ramage Nyatanga Williams..........................................................John ..........................Scowen Pearson......................... .......................................Berry...................................... ..........................Winnall Waring............................
I would like to see our league position without his goals and assists. In fact no I wouldn't as I would be extremely worried how it might be. The cheers for his substitution yesterday was downright embarrassing
Nobody will ever know how many penalties somebody else would have scored or how many freekicks. Or how many corners from Pearson etc would have been headed in. You can't discount set pieces when looking at someone's goal tally but you do have to concede that taking set pieces means a players goal tally and assist rate SHOULD be considerably higher than players who don't take them
Holgate and Cowgill instead of Ramage and Cranie. Smith instead of John. Bailey for Pearson. But yep, that formation. Huddersfield have started playing 3-5-2. They're on a good run all of a sudden.
Do Huddersfield have any ball playing creative midfielders who pop in a few goals but perhaps doesn't get stuck in and battle in defence? We don't seem to like them types here
Davies Cranie Ramage Nyatanga Smith Scowen Berry Winnall Hourrihane John Waring Winnall to push up when needed. Jabo to come on when they're tired.
