TEAM NEWS FROM THE WALKERS STADIUM - DE SILVA, WERLING, McCANN OUT - TOGWELL, KOZLUK, DEVANEY IN
Posted on: Sat 27 Oct 2007
TODAY'S teams have just been confirmed.

LEICESTER CITY: Fulop, N'Gotty, Kisnorbo, McAuley, Stearman, Hume, Newton, Wesolowski, Sheehan, Fyatt, John.
Subs: Henderson, Chambers, Porter, Campbell, Cort.

BARNSLEY: Muller, Foster, Kozluk, Souza, Nyatanga, Campbell-Ryce, Howard, Togwell, Devaney, Odejayi, Mostto.
Subs: Colgan, McCann, Christensen, Ricketts, Werling.

McCann and Werling can have no complaints about sitting this one out; they've both been crap for the last two games.

Thats the team I was hoping for. I might have gone for Werling on the left of midfield, but can't argue with that team.

Still no AJ in the squad????????

I am with you on that

I still worry when we go with this team that we have 3 attacking midfielders and just 1 that can defend.. At least with Mcann wide we are a little more defensively solid

I would be tempted with a 4 2 3 1 away from home with the 2 being Togwell, Reid and the 3 JCR, Howard, Devaney

I think thats a bit harsh

Ignoring the away game at Southampton, when he grabbed 2 of our 3 goals, he has been good in several games. He has been very poor in others though

look at the strikers on their bench

Carl Cort, DJ Campbell thats not bad and Collins JOhn has always impressed me when upfront for Fulham

Not sure I agree about McCann being better defensively than disco

He can track back and tackle fairly well

Personally I'd have pushed Werling up for McCann but no real complaints with that team

you watch the next game he plays

    no backbone.

When he receives the ball he cant wait to get shut to anyone near him. He does nothing to change the game. Can you remember the last defence splitting pass he made - apart from to the opposition? Id rather see someone willing to be a little more creative.
