I am not going to start slagging everyone off and sundry, funds are tight, attendances low however, I am convinced with the players available we could have fielded a better eleven last night. For me the formation is wrong and we need a soild 4-4-2 because we have not enough quality to play neat passing football that Hill wants. When I saw O'brien, Perkins and Haynes as a loan striker I feared the worst. I am convined a team of: Steele Hassell Foster Edwards Mceverley Reuben Doyle Louvre Butts Haynes Davies Would have competed better than the team our manager turned out last night...
Mine would be a 442 Steele Hassel Foster Addison JayMac O'Brien Doyle Butterfield Noble-Lazarus/Vaz Te Davies Haynes
team setdi baring inj or new signings???? should be. Steele Bobby Addison Edwards McNulty Butterfield Doyle Perkins McEverley Haynes Davies
We haven't got enough wide midfielders/wingers to play any formation without somebody playing out of position. We are desperate for some width, I don't think expecting just the full backs to provide it is enough unless you have got top class players. Everytime I try to pick a side from our squad I can't manage to pick one without playing players out of position, the squad has no balance.
