I would have said drop Davies last night when I was quite peed off with him and the team. But maybe the problem is he knows hes safe, we dont have a good back up and arent going to risk dropping him for Townsend in the important games are we. And surely we've got better options than Elder, I cant understand why we've got him and Jones as well. I hope Hecky does stick with the 4-4-2, and that means he will probably start with Armstrong again and possibly Bradshaw as well.
I think Hecky knows Watkins is off. Off course at press interviews he talks about players getting in on merit, but clearly he is playing around, looking at who will be here next year & what he needs. If he wasn't I'd be worried. Hence thread "Team vs Brentford" is only relevant to one person & that's Hecky. Hope we win mind. Will have worked 85 hours in last week & it's my only day off. **** game is not in my plans.
We brought in jones to replace bree. When elder has played yidom has gone to his natural position of right back. People have slated both jones and elder on here my point still stands we haven't replaced bree.
I agree I think the two we miss the most are bree and conor we were still winning and scoring without winnall. Without conor we seem to by pass the midfield and give it a big hoof to bradshaw all too often. I'm sure ph will sort it in the summer.
