_____________Davies ------------Bree long Mawson smith -----------Isgrove Abbott hourhine hammill --------------------------- Winnall white?? With Watkins and scowern injured and white and Pearson going back we are in need of a center mid and center forward for Saturday but if none were to come in that would be my starting 11
I would like to see at least one addition before Saturday preferebly center midfield. We have got to the area final may aswell go for it. I don't mind seeing white or ash given a run out up top though.
LJ keeps banging on about getting players that are JPT eligible. It would be strange if there were no additions before Saturday.
Williams for Isgrove all day long. Has Aidy White gone back? Based on appearances to date we could guarantee that Harry White would give it his all up front, trouble is he'd also be blowing out of his arse after half an hour.
back to being bullied and out fought. bang average full backs and no steel in midfield. 4 nil to us then!
I'd play Williams just off Winnall and with him, Isgrove and Hammill in the team I reckon we'd take them to the cleaners, even with the inexperience of Bree, Smith and Abbott. Different story away from home and against the better sides like, but I reckon we'd be alright for Saturday.
And that is why the loan policy never works. Back to square one unless some permanent additions are forthcoming
Mawson might have to play the holding midfield? 4-2-3-1? Davis Bree Long Nyatanga/Roberts Smith Hourihane Mawson Isgrove Williams Hammill Winnall
Or, play the fringe players/kids and save our better players for games that actually matter. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
By the sounds of the noises coming from the club this game does matter. A Wembley final, no matter what competition can generate a decent amount of money for the club.
Good idea mate. R.Williams can be unplayable in the no.10 role. Hopefully AH will be as good as he's. been in the last 2 JPT rounds. I reckon Fleetwood will come for the 0-0 or 1-0 smash n grab and will be very hard to break down. I fancy us more in the 2nd leg and wouldn't be surprised if its de ja vu from the Huddersfield 2 legged tie nearly 10 years ago.
Game absolutely does matter. If we don't sign anyone before then I'd definitely stick Abbott in rather than moving Mawson Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I can see revenue wise for the club this game does matter plus its a chance for players to play at Wembley.
The game definitely matters, but it is a 2 leg contest & as opposed to bringing in an experienced, but possibly unfit player on the day before the match I'd rather go with what we have. (Discounting if we can get White back of course). We do need experience in this weekend, ready for next, as I agree we'll get bum raped against more cynical, physical teams.
