4-5-1 to hopefully avoid total humiliation.

No way on earth will this team be selected. Cavare and pinilos are not going to be involved for rest of season . Even though they are still being paid and are far better than the other bell ends in defence

It will be pretty much the same team, the same tactics and the same mistakes.

Advanced deck-chair shuffling. We only have two players who are currently good enough for this league in Mowatt and Woodrow (in his proper position), with another two or three who may be with more experience in the likes of Brown and Chaplin. No defenders are.

Sollbauer was the only inkling of positivity I could take from last night so to drop him would be madness.

If we are to persist with the diamond, I would go:

Collins; Ludewig, Sollbaur, Halme, Odour / Ritzmaier; B. Williams; Dougall, Mowatt; Brown; Woodrow, Chaplin

Williams based on a brief appearance at DM at Doncaster last season admittedly, but gets Andersen out of the team, with Mowatt not out of position.

The attacking midfield position, is really the player in a front three that is expected to be a workhorse. Would give that job to Brown. Equally can give it to Chaplin, now the goals have dried up.

    Ideally, I would go 442...

Collins, Ludewig, Sollbaur, Halme, Ritzmaier, Brown, Mowatt, Dougall, Odour, Chaplin, Woodrow.

When he signed, Ritzmaier was listed as a possible left back. Let Struber go with a back four that includes 3 of his own signings.

We dont want Ben Williams diving into tackles against fulham....he will be off, or they will just play past him.

And there is the problem. You have picked a radically different team, bringing in players who have been shoved out of the first team squad.
And while in a one off game anything can happen i feel confident that 11 would fair no better than we are currently.
In fact they may well do worse.
Halme has looked poor whenever he has played in defence his best displays coming in midfield.
Fielding is just throwing another young lad in at the deep end.
Caravre when played this season has been awful defensively.
Pinnilos hasn't had a chance to be fair but we all know that's because he lacks pace.
Thiam I could do a full page on his failings but let's just list his one pro -can kick ball hard.
All we are doing every week is hoping some combination of Woodrow, Mowatt, Brown and Chaplin can win us a game.
We have 4 decent players and then squad full of mediocrity.

Everybody seems to have forgotten how bad Cavare and Thiam are and Pinillos is too slow! Having said that none of the replacements are any better. I would go back to 442 with Radlinger, Williams (right side only ffs!) Sollbauer, Halme, Ben Williams, Brown, Mowatt, Dougall, Odour, Chaplin, Woodrow. But we still lose.
