Reckon the youths will be playing, don't know who the top prospects are though Rose, RNL and Digby if he's fit, probably Nana, Mchale?, Oates?, Patterson? Heard good things about McKnight Do we still have that left back Steade? Got to be worth a crack ahead of TK Who was that youngster got called up by England the other day?
I think the team lines up should have symbolism attached to it. To what the future could be like and where we aim to go. This season has been beyond turgid beyond belief. I'd play players we either want to keep or promote through the ranks and completely freshen things. Rose has to start and it's a shame RNL and Digby have been injured most of the season as i'd definitely play them. I'd drop Kennedy (and sell O'Grady in the summer... despite his body strength being such an asset, it weakens us overall as we overplay that ridiculous floaty left channel ball and kills our central midfield ever having to try and do a job). Whats happened to Jordan Clark? Smith could be worth a go and then maybe Nana and Oates on the bench.
I reckon we'll either see Bobby brought on or subbed towards the end so that he can have his last hurrah.
