Doubt it will be but Id like to see this

    ........................Killip........................
    ...........Pines...Roberts...Earl...........
    O'Keefe....................................Gent
    ...............Nwakali...Connell.............
    .......................Phillips.....................
    ..............Humphrys...DKD...............

For me MDG has been poor for a few weeks now and has played a lot if games so a rest may be good
Nwakali deserves to start. He wont drop Connell and Phillips is our main Goal threat from Midfield
OKeefe was shocking today but hes been playing well (I know Russell has too and hes not in my team)

Thought MDG was excellent last week against Cambridge after the first 15 minutes. Was surprised he was moved to the right today after the change but he did alright when there, ran from deep plenty and tried overlapping and creating space. I certainly wouldn't drop him. There's got to be a reason why he plays every minute of every game under multiple managers?

Other than that I'd probably drop DKD for Watters if he's fit. Was poor again today DKD and the amount of big chances he's missed recently (all season really) is glaring. I think we criticise our defence enough for errors but missing huge chances is equally as bad imo and I think he's got off very lightly lately.

Agree with Nwakali for sure, mate. Deserves a start I think. Looked brilliant for us in his short cameos!

Lack of another decent forward is starting to hurt us now. DKD is not a natural striker and never will be. The 60/40 he had in his favour yesterday over their keeper proved that. For some reason he backed out when he would easily have reached the ball first and scored or drew a penalty. It’s either him or Phillips behind two strikers for me.

Phillips and Russell both good technical players were no good yesterday as we needed energy, which they don't have.
That's the problem with the midfield ....not enough "legs" against some teams.
Not sure how Reading play but if they have pace and a decent midfield ...a draw may be a good result....errr imho.

We have done well in the past bringing in a January striker like Mcburnie and McAtee. Hope we can pull another rabbit out of the hat.

Think McAtee was a summer window signing.

It’s a difficult one this. The weather was atrocious and Wigan scored with their only shot on target, courtesy of our defenders stood ball watching. Both teams played better into the away end.

On Tuesday, we play another team we don’t beat at home and they’re currently in very decent form, so there’s every chance we won’t win that one either, regardless of selection.

Also, I’m not sure Connell playing with another defensive midfielder is the answer. It certainly hasn’t worked with Craig.

I'd drop mdg, Connell, Phillips and gent and go 4 4 2. We seemed much more comfortable after the changescto formation and tactics

Can he play left back? Not sure of his natural position to be honest
