    VERY strange team

    Five defenders, three strikers?

We really seem to be going for it, look at the bench!

Must be playing wing backs or something.

    Odd line up

To start with three strikers away from home. Palace's back 4 might be in for a bit of a bruising with Macken, Ferenzci and Odejayi up front.

They've got a strong back four

Or looked as though they did when we played them last. Suppose Davey is trying to catch them by surprise.

Can't see it working to be honest.

I think Macken will play just behind front two, looks good to me.

    Seems like a 5-3-2/5-2-3.

Bet Macken is sat behind front two.

I don't like it when there's no wingers in at the start.

Hope it's not just a hump it and run game from us.

    RE: Odd line up

    Looks to me like:

    Steele

Van Homoet Foster Sousa Nyatanga Kozluk

    Togwell Howard

    Odejayi Macken Ferenczi

I think Odejayi may be pulled back to the right wing. I always thought that, with his pace, a wide position could suit him. Look at some of the goals he scored at Cheltenham, running from deep and wide positions. Might just work, but I concur with those who say that strange formations rarely come off for us. We'll see! I bet Togwell and Macken will fancy their chances against their old club as well.

Well, we can't do any worse than we have been doing so it might just work. We had top try something different so credit to Davey.
