Don’t know about anyone else and I don’t know if It’s cause I’m used to it but I can’t help but want the playoff chasing teams to win...should i? Is this wrong?
I've been think about that too, difficult isn't it? Wanting Stoke to win purely for the comedy value, draws in the other games would be good.
Absolutely. If you look at the form table for the last 25 matches we're 5th, above Reading and Bournemouth - all to play for yet.
No not really. It’s part and parcel of being a Reds fan in the 21st century. Ie constantly pondering on which three clubs will finish below us, even on the rare occasions when we are doing ok
I think you could argue that the current gap between the chasing pack and the top 6 means that any/all of Bournemouth, Reading or Watford falling off would increase our chances of making the playoffs. Got no problem with the likes of Bristol City beating the likes of Reading as long as we beat them when the chance comes round! Edit: For some reason I read that as 'Teams near top' not 'Teams near bottom'. Head in the clouds!
I can’t bring myself to want Sheffield Wednesday to win a football match. Ever. but in general I’m looking up, I think we have an outside chance at the playoffs. We won’t go down.
