tecchie advice needed - again!

I've just backed up my documents, music, photos etc, all that's important to me.</p>

My pc has been playing up, v slow, chugging away, freezing, won't do a system restore, won't recognise blank cds,etc.. so I've just removed some unessential programmes, and I'm about to use that Eusing registry cleaner... is there anything I should be aware of!?</p>

Or is there anything else I can do?? Any ideas?</p>
