Will I lose any information from my computer if I replace the existing memory chips with one with a larger memory capacity? I'm thinking not but I just want to be on the safe side.

Any help would be gratefully received. Cheers

What you need to do is..........

.....make sure you don't lose your memory when you change your chip mate.

    nope

The information is stored on the hard drive so removing the memory and swapping it for a bigger stick wont make any difference.

I know because I did it myself fr the first time less than 2 weeks ago.
