    Is there a command in Windows (XP or Vista) whereby you can restart the print spooler without having to piss about with a reboot?

    Here you go ..............

    Open notepad / add the following two lines :</p>

    net stop spooler &amp;&amp; net start spooler
    pause    </p>

    Save as (all files) restart.batto your desktop and doubleclick it every time you need to restart the spooler. Like wot I have to do ! Hope this helps</p>
